Yoga Classes

Kali Yoga offers a wide variety of classes.  Whether you are a beginner or an advanced yoga practitioner, we offer classes to help you find your balance between challenge and ease. Below you will find a list of our class offerings and a description of the classes offered.



yoga2Hatha Yoga classes are geared for beginners with many variations given so that more advanced students will also enjoy  being challenged  in the class.

Each class consists of:

  • Pranayama (Breathing Exercise): to cleanse the body and mind
  • Asana (Postures): to strengthen, improve flexibility, and bring balance to the body
  • Shavasana (Relaxation): to revitalize, rejuvenate and heal the body and mind.Intro to Hatha/ Flow: is geared for students who have little or no experience in hatha/flow yoga, or for those who are interested in reviewing or gaining deeper knowledge of breathing and postures.


Vinyasa classes are geared for students who are looking for a fast paced yoga class. Students must be experienced in yoga and know the proper alignment for postures. Faster-paced than a hatha class, the Vinyasa yoga class works the cardiovascular system and incorporates the sun salutation series in a dynamic flow (shorter rest periods) of postures.

Therapeutic Hatha

kaliyinThis class is for anybody and any body!  This class is a gentle hatha class mixed with restorative postures and therapeutic movements for the joints.  This class is suitable no matter what conditions your body may have or may be going through.  This class is also suitable for long term practitioners as a way to deepen your practice and become even more educated on your body and mind from within.

Yin Yoga

Explore a deep stretch as we move through series of yin yoga poses, holding the pose for 2-5minutes. Discover how balancing deep stretches targeting connective tissues will enhance an active Yang way of life. You’ll learn specific yoga poses, personalized posture tips, and therapeutic breathing techniques. Suitable for all levels.


yogaclassA very gentle, calming class supporting the body in every posture using props. For bodies who have experienced any form of trauma to the body, recent surgery or accident. Or just to experience a very deep relaxed state of being. All are welcome!
