Jaromey

In 1985 Jaromey picked up one of the rarest Yoga books in the world. She attempted some of the poses in it and was amazed and intimidated by how challenging Yoga actually can be. Although she didn’t keep up her practice from this original starting point the seeds of inspiration were planted.

Although her first class taken was of the ‘Hot Yoga’ variety, Jaromey decided to take her teaching practice in the Ashtanga (sometimes called ‘Power’) Yoga tradition. Over the years she has trained and practiced with some of the world’s top Yoga teachers: David Swenson, Beryl Bender Birch, Bikram Choudhury and Rodney Yee to name a few.

To date Jaromey practices regularly with Vancouver based teachers Eoin Finn, Jesse Enright and in Abbotsford with Tony Brinks.

Jaromey has owned and operated her own Yoga studio and over the years, on average, taught 14 classes per week.

Jaromey’s style of teaching is very positive and goal oriented per individual. She is capable of instructing the beginner and the advanced within the same class setting. Her classes include the vinyasa counting method using the Sanskrit language along with English translations.

Jaromey is much loved by her students as she shows them love and respect for the individual that they are….and for the person they’ll become on their journey with Yoga.
