Pre-natal Yoga Classes
Postures in prenatal yoga classes are designed to help with the aches and pains of pregnancy. Mandy will guide you through postures that reduce low back strain and relieve sciatic symptoms. Each class targets hips, shoulders and back tensions and improve your awareness of the pelvic floor and offer proper Kegel techniques. Breath awareness and relaxation techniques are also incorporated to help better prepare women for the experience of labour, delivery and postpartum recovery.

Bio : I have been enjoying my yoga practice for over a decade and have sought teachers worldwide to train with, in Europe, New York, Chicago, Thailand and here in Vancouver and still my journey is only beginning. I teach everything from Hatha, Jivamukti, flow and power through to kids, families and prenatal because I firmly believe that it is never too early or late to start your practice.
In Jivamukti (liberated soul), a style influenced by Ashtanga, we believe in finding joy and happiness while we are living and not waiting until we die. We can achieve anything we wish by these powers; power of cooperation, power of love, power of friendliness, power of meditation, power of silence and fearlessness and this is what I bring to my classes. Whether it is a hatha class or a power class we come to our mats united in our ability to change our lives, those around us and the planet we share. In the words of Yogi Bhajan…if you want to master something, teach it. I have found my calling, let me help you find yours as we connect mind, body and spirit.
“The best way to uplift your own life is to do all you can to uplift the lives of others.” -Sharon Gannon
